This was a nice spot to enjoy a Friday morning breakfast while WFH. There was ample seating both inside and outside. The customer service was equally as good! I decided on the Coupe Royale which consisted of pancakes, eggs, bacon and has brown. Everything was nice. A little lukewarm but that was okay. I enjoyed it all. I also tried the sweet potato cinnamon roll which was decent enough. A pleasant surprise was the animal crackers that came with the coffee. Super cute! Will definitely be back.

Loved this place. Would definitely come back. The breakfast was excellent and the coffee was delicious. I had a cold brew w. Some oat milk on the side. While my mom had a hot lavender latte served in a mug. Our waiter was very nice & cooperative. We left him a big tip :) The outside scenery was also very pretty, we sat next to an open window. It's right across the street from a playground/ park in a nice area. Would definitely come again if I make my way back to DC!

The coupe: It used to be my spot with my Love. I don't have no more time in the sunday mornings. We enjoyed amazing lattes or Matcha. We had mostly of the breakfast side. Love the burrito and huevos rancheros. I've been twice for lunch. Love the cozy grilled cheese with the tomatoe soup and the burguers. I love the variety of food they have, and restaurant it's very cozy. The service is good.

It was super loud inside so we decided to sit outside despite risk of rain. It's a lovely outside space- the only real source of noise being the road next to it. Our server was very busy and did not check in often but understandable because of how busy the inside was. I got the stuffed French toast and a Lavender Lemonade. I loved the lemonade but the French toast didn't blow me away but it was good regardless. Expect to spend about $20 per person. 9/10

A great spot for brunch in Colombia heights! My friend and I came here around 10:30 am on a Saturday and we got seated immediately. One thing that stood out to me was the service - everyone was extremely friendly and eager to talk and give recommendations. The place is pretty big and there's outdoor seating as well. The vanilla latte was great! I would definitely come back for the coffee. The food was good, but nothing special. It was pretty standard eggs, bacon, and chocolate chip pancakes. The hash brown was my favorite part. Overall, I would come back for the coffee, and maybe try something else on the menu.

After seeing The Coupe in passing multiple times, I finally decided to give it a try, and I'm thrilled I did. This spot is a true gem for brunch or breakfast enthusiasts. The ambiance is inviting and comfortable, perfect for a leisurely morning meal with friends or family. The menu offers a delightful variety of options, from classic brunch staples to creative twists on breakfast favorites. Everything I've tried here has been delicious and made with quality ingredients. But what truly adds to The Coupe's charm is its history. It's not every day you dine at a place that has welcomed the likes of Barack Obama. Knowing that such esteemed individuals have graced these very tables adds an extra layer of allure to the experience.

Incredible food, impeccable service and local atmosphere. What's not to love?? Two day in a row for breakfast and the huevos rancheros are the best I've ever had. The hash brown bowl has the most amazing pickled onions and the mulled cider is truly European good!!

Popped in when looking for a Sunday pick me up drink and super happy I did. I heard that it can get busy but when we went (around 4) there was tons of space. This place has lots of space which is nice for sure. Coffee was good. Got the iced latte with lavender -next time I'd get it a little less sweet but overall the flavor was great. My sister got a macchiato which she said was delicious. Drinks came out quickly and barista was kind and helpful. Would def come back to check out their breakfast menu!

Cute spot with a massive amount of space inside, some very good coffee, very tasty food, and great service. I went here for a quick brunch and got a dirty chai and biscuits and gravy and it was just what I needed. Definitely recommend checking this spot out if you're looking for a classic brunch cafe.
